Smart Tech is theirs, and they are on the bench themselves. You deal with them directly, not with a call centre.
Doorstep pickup and delivery
We collect the television from your home across south Chennai and bring it back once it is repaired. You do not have to lift it, tie it to anything or find a vehicle.
Pay nothing if we cannot fix it
No repair, no bill. There is no inspection fee and no charge for the time we spend finding out what has failed. You pay only when your television is working again.
Every cost agreed before we start
We tell you what has failed and exactly what it will cost, and we do not touch the set until you say yes. Nothing is added at the end.
What is it doing?
Point at the screen that looks like yours
You do not need to know the technical name for it. Find the picture that matches your set and you already know roughly what is wrong.
Fault 01
It will not turn on at all
Usually the power supply board: swollen capacitors or a failed standby rail. Often repairable at component level.
Fault 02
Sound works but the screen is black
The picture is being produced, but the backlight is not lighting it. Normally failed LED strips or the driver circuit.
Fault 03
Half the screen is dark
A T-CON board or a loose panel ribbon. We check the connection before condemning the panel.
Fault 04
Vertical or horizontal lines
A driver IC along the panel edge. Some sets can be recovered, others need the panel. We tell you which before you spend anything.
Fault 05
Stuck on the logo, or restarting
Firmware or main-board fault on a Smart or Android set. Often fixed with a reflash rather than a new board.
Fault 06
No signal, or HDMI not detected
A failed HDMI port, input switching on the main board, or the source device. We test the set against a known-good source.

Our technicians handle complex repairs at board level. Finding out where you stand costs you nothing at all: if we cannot save the set, there is no bill. If buying new is the better call, we will say so.

Frequently asked questions
Which types of TV do you repair?
We repair LCD and LED televisions, UHD and OLED sets, and Smart and Android TVs. We also supply and fit TV accessories such as cables, connectors, wall mounts and remotes.
Which TV brands do you service?
We service Samsung, Sony, LG, Philips, Panasonic, TCL, Xiaomi, Sharp, Vu, Onida and Micromax televisions, among others. Smart Tech is an independent repair centre and is not an authorised service partner of these manufacturers.
Where are you located?
Smart Tech has two service centres in the southern suburbs of Chennai: one in Velachery and one in Sithalapakkam. Both handle the same range of repairs.
Do you repair televisions at my home?
Yes. Many faults can be diagnosed and repaired at your home. Sets needing panel-level or board-level work are brought back to our service centre and returned once the repair is complete.
What does an inspection cost?
Nothing. We diagnose the fault and quote the full repair cost before any work begins, and you only pay if the television is actually repaired. If we cannot fix it, there is nothing to pay.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the fault and on parts availability. We tell you the expected timeline when we quote, so you know before agreeing to the work.
